Reliance Jio recently announced that Jio Phone holders can now avail unlimited calls and 1GB 4G data for 28 days at just Rs.49 as a part of Republic day 2019 promotion. The company said in a statement “Jio Phone users will enjoy free voice calls and unlimited data (1GB at high speed) for 28 days at a price of only Rs. 49. Jio is also introducing affordable data add-ons at Rs. 11, 21, 51 and 101” For those who don’t know much about Jio Phone, it’s a feature phone, but, it is smarter than other feature phones on the market right now. The best thing is, the phone is 4G LTE and VoLTE-ready which means that it has the potential to become a user’s full-fledged internet device. Well, the recent announcement comes just hours after the company announced that it was updating it’s existing prepaid plans for smartphone users.
