Is the iPhone 8 really sturdy as Apple says?
JerryRigEverything, a well-known Youtuber, received the new iPhone 8 and as is common, the first thing he did was put it to the test in terms of endurance. Youtuber used a specific set of tools to do the “endurance test.” According to the tech giant Apple, the glass that is part of the new iPhones is the toughest ever placed on a smartphone. But is it really so?
Let’s see the test result in the video below:-
Screen – At the screen level, as you can see from the video, it only shows significant marks from level 6 which means that it uses tempered glass. The same result was achieved with the iPhone 7 and also with the recent Note 8. JerryRigEverything recommends, however, users should use a protective film and thus protect from objects like coins, keys, etc. Home button: The Home button was not damaged in the scraping test. Cameras: Regarding the camera, after the scratch test, there were some “slight” marks. iPhone 8 body: The metal body of the iPhone was also put to the test and the marks are evident. Heat test: To perform the heat test a lighter was used for 10 seconds. Although some pixels get “black”, they recover after a few seconds. Finally, in the popular test to see if the iPhone 8 doubles, the result is simply excellent. In general terms the iPhone 8 is a very tough device having overcome the demanding test, meeting what the tech giant Apple had informed. So, what do you think about this?
