Church of Vows Location in Elden Ring
The Chruch of Vows is located in Liurna of the Lakes, to the east of Raya Lucaria Academy. It’s found on a cliff, high up above the actual lake. Here’s the exact spot on the map that you need to go to: You can reach the church by exiting the lake north of the academy, or you can simply stay out of the lake and circle it to the right after leaving Stormveil Castle. There’s also a portal inside the academy that leads straight to the church.
What to Do in the Chruch of Vows
There are two main reasons to visit the Church of Vows: speaking to Miriel, Pastor of Vows, or seeking absolution. Miriel is a giant tortoise who can teach both Incantations and Sorceries. He specializes in Sorceries but can also be given special books in order to add Incantations to his list of magic. Seeking absolution by interacting with the statue at the back of the church will cause any NPCs that you’ve attacked to return to their normal state and remove aggro. It won’t revive any dead NPCs, though. To seek absolution, interact with the statue while in possession of Celestial Dew, and your sins will be forgiven, so to speak. The dew can be found in several places, including Raya Lucaria Academy, Nokstella, Nokron, and Caria Manor.
